A multi-functional activity precinct.

SUITABILITY
Caters for all agers.

HIGHLIGHTS
Quota Memorial Park is home to many facilities including a place for memorial and community functions, as well as a destination for an award-winning skate park, fully fenced playground, half basketball court, barbecue and picnic facilities and public amenities. The multi-functional activity centre is also referred to as the 'Nambour Skate Park and Youth Activity Precinct'. The skate park offers a variety of elements to be creative. It includes banks, ledges, rails, kick up and downs, stairs, tight transitions with ledges. Overall, the space flows well with minimal pushes required whilst offering varied arrangements for impressive manoeuvres. Immediately adjacent to this facility is the enormous 35-tonne sculpture of a set of cogs and gears from the old Moreton Sugar Mill in Nambour. This is a proud piece of Nambour’s history that adds a very special element to the place. It is also located alongside the memorial space for veterans on Ann Street. This 'strip' also has a number of popular features such as the memorial space for veterans with the Heroes walk and cenotaph and the Goong' Gai'Ba indigenous garden.

AFTERWARDS
Why not walk into town and take some time to explore the CBD district of Nambour – known for its retro charm, vintage trails, thriving café and craft beer scene.

HOW TO GET THERE
Travel through the centre of Nambour's Main Street (Currie Street). Turn right into Mathew Street and follow it to the end of the road. There is a large car park adjacent to the parkland.
