A popular walk in the town of Palmwoods.

SUITABILITY
Suitable for walkers, families and recreational riders.

HIGHLIGHTS
The path begins at Piccabean Park, along known as the official Town Square. Opened in 2018, the town square includes a community green lawn space, boardwalk, seating, shaded areas, and bespoken art features. Along the path you will transverse through the main street of Palmwoods and will immediately feel the quirky and retro vide of the hinterland town! On the journey to Lemon Park, you will also pass by the Palmwoods Skate park, which provides a range of skate elements ideal for beginners and intermediate skaters and comfortably accommodates 3-4 skaters at any one time. There’s also the Palmwoods Aquatic Centre, home to a heated indoor pool, a 25-metre heated pool with covered grandstand and a wading pool.

AFTERWARDS
Spend some time enjoying the township of Palmwoods or visit the charming townships of Blackall Range villages of Buderim, Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, all within a comfortable driving distance. Or head to nearby Federation Park and enjoy a picnic lunch!

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: Travel north or south along Palmwoods-Montville Road to the heart of Palmwoods, there is plenty of parking available. Piccabeen Park is in Main Street, next to the Memorial Hall.
To the end point: The end point being the same as your starting point.
