Circuit

A unique, leisurely walk circumnavigating Mt Coolum.
SUITABILITY

This walk is suitable for families and those prepared for a short-unsealed bush track section.
HIGHLIGHTS

Beginning at the Mt Coolum boardwalk, there are a number of car parking spaces available. Initially the track moves through the beachside suburb along footpaths, road and a track which brings you out at the Mt Coolum Shopping Centre.
The walk continues alongside the imposing figure of Mt Coolum, offering numerous photogenic vantage points along the way. This road offers walkers the beautiful green layout of a local golf course to the left and the impressive rock formation of Mt Coolum to the right. Keen observers may also spot several kangaroos lazing in the sun along the fairways.
The path moves to an unsealed rocky track around the back of the mountain; however, this is short lived as the path rejoins the sealed section at Toolga St.
The track covers the entire base of Mt Coolum and returns to the boardwalk car park.

AFTERWARDS

For the more adventurous, continue down the boardwalk to extend your walk or cut back to even climb Mt Coolum! For those looking to relax, grab a coffee, lunch or refreshments from the shopping centre and head straight to the beach.
HOW TO GET THERE

To Start: Via David Low Way, turn onto Tanah St East. The car park is at the end of the road.
To End: The end point is the start point
