This is an easy walk through the dunes from Bokarina Beach – Warana Beach Access 238.

SUITABILITY
It is a wide pathway that is suitable for people with disabilities, as well as activities such as walking, jogging, bike riding. Dogs on lead are welcome. The walk is 30 mins walk each way.

HIGHLIGHTS
This is a lovely walk along the new coastal pathway from Bokarina Beach to Warana – Beach Access 238. It goes through the dunes and there are gorgeous views of the ocean in various spots along the pathway. You will walk past native vegetation and see birds and butterflies. There are many beach accesses that cross the coastal pathway so it can be as long or short as you like. There is even the option to break the walk and head to the beach for a swim. Seats are available along various areas of the walk so you can have a rest and enjoy the view. There are also a few taps along the walkway so you can stop and fill you water bottles &/or give you dog a drink.

At the second last beach access (BA239) which crosses the pathway there is an amazing viewing platform and resting area to view the beach. There is also a park with a playground and toilet.

AFTERWARDS
There are beautiful beaches very close by. You could go for a swim &/or have a picnic in the park. There is plenty of room for children to run around. Alternatively, you could buy a drink &/or something to eat at the café near the car park.

HOW TO GET THERE

The walk can be accessed by turning at the lights along Nicklin Way, at Bokarina Boulevard, at Bokarina. Alternatively you can access the pathway from Beach Access 238 which is on Oceanic Drive, opposite Perina Street at Warana. There is plenty of parking available at the car park on Bokarina Boulevard, as well as a coffee shop, toilets, a park and picnic area. A playground is currently being built. There are no facilities at the Warana site and parking is available on the street.
