Circuit

A leisurely trail along the Lake Kawana foreshore, ending at the newly established Bokarina Beach precinct.

SUITABILITY
This walk suits beginners, families and those looking for accessible trail options.

HIGHLIGHTS
Starting outside the Sunshine Coast Stadium, this trail straddles Lake Kawana where local rowing and remote yachting activities can be viewed. There are several rest areas along the way, complete with BBQ facilities and amenities. The spacious, sealed path allows for comfortable walking, cycling, and scooting.
Approximately 300m along the trail is the Eastbank Edible Garden, which is open for the community to enter and wander through at their leisure.
Finally, the trail concludes at Bokarina Beach precinct where a café conveniently sits across from a large playground. Grab a coffee and watch the kids enjoy one of the exciting new playgrounds. Why not continue down to the Bokarina Beach and check out one of the Sunshine Coast’s best hidden surf spots?

AFTERWARDS
If you have refuelled and are seeking more adventure, the trail continues around Lake Kawana and returns to the start point on Sportsmans Parade.

HOW TO GET THERE
Via Nicklin Way, turn left or right onto Main Drive and then left onto Sportsmans Parade. The starting point is on your right, at the rowing finish tower.
Via Bruce Highway (M1), take the Caloundra Road exit. Then left onto Kawana Way Link Road, left onto Kawana Way, right onto Main Drive and finally right onto Sportsmans Parade.
