This urban ride uses off-road pathways to get you out to the University past Mooloolah State Forest. Relax and enjoy the ride!

SUITABILITY
Suitable for confident road cyclists.

HIGHLIGHTS
Separated cycleways, local streets and shared pathways make this an enjoyable loop. This flat ride takes you through Mooloolaba, under the Sunshine Motorway into Mountain Creek and around to the University. The ride borders the Mooloolah State Forest and showcases diverse habitats iconic to our region. There are trails in here so come back later for a mountain bike ride or a walk! Use the separated cycleway back into Mooloolaba for an easy urban ride.

AFTERWARDS
Relax at one of the many outlets at the Wharf and enjoy the views of the beautiful Mooloolah River, and admire the luxury waterfront properties. This is a great place to find a river cruise or try a spot of fishing.

HOW TO GET THERE
Start and finish at the Wharf in the heart of Mooloolaba. Ample parking is available.

IMPORTANT: On-road cyclists should always ride with caution and be aware that conditions can change at any time. Cyclists using rural roads may encounter heavy vehicles and should be aware that roads can be narrow and undulating with varying shoulder widths. Notify someone of your intended route and be prepared with water, food and sun protection.
