Circuit

Stroll or cycle across the Mooloolah River on one of its causeways.

SUITABILITY
Suitable for walkers and recreational cyclists – pram and wheelchair friendly - an easy grade all round

HIGHLIGHTS
This park is well known by locals – a short little adventure that enables you to cross the Mooloolah River on a cement causeway with parklands on either side. Given the urbanised surrounds it is a surprisingly peaceful location. Strategically placed benches provide rest stops in the shade and with views of the river. At the half-way mark, leave the main path and walk up to the bridge, cross the road at the roundabout and walk down to re-join the main path for the remainder of the walk

AFTERWARDS
The Mooloolah River National Park has many other trails for you to explore, or head east to the nearby beaches for a swim. A short drive south on Kawana Way brings you to a business/shopping precinct with several coffee shops.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: From Kawana Way turn west into Premier Circuit and immediately turn right at the T-junction. Following the road around to the left, the start of the walk is at the park on the right. Parking is on the street.
The end point is the same as your starting point.

Good walk for families, whether walking or cycling. If you like clear open space and water views the whole way, you'll enjoy this walk.

A great family walk...hardly anyone around - great for young kids to get use to bike riding up and down gentle slopes...but watch our for the lake at the bottom!
