A short bush walk on the edge of Nambour.

SUITABILITY
This trial is suitable for walkers and those new to trail running.

HIGHLIGHTS
The park itself has a large picnic area with a playground, barbeque facilities, seating, and amenities. The recreation loop is approximately 1km, following a short bush track around the forest. The walk requires you to loop back up to the entrance, which includes a steep incline of stairs guaranteed to make you break into a light sweat! There is a rest area before the incline, so take a moment to enjoy the views and take in the bushland experience.

For those wishing to increase the heart rate, the loop branches off down to the lower street level and follows a steep stairway as you journey back to the recreation loop. This is a great option for those looking to do a short endurance session, or new to trail running!

AFTERWARDS
Enjoy the picnic area or take some time to read about Koala Park on the information board.
Closely located to Nambour, there is hub of local cafes, restaurants, and shops to enjoy.

HOW TO GET THERE
Travelling along Nambour Connection Road, turn into Panorama Drive and follow this for a short distance before veering left and continuing to the end of Panorama Drive. Keep a look out for the large green sign on your approach. There is ample parking, including an accessible car park closely located to the park.

The bush trails can also be accessed from the bottom of the reserve, by accessing Bade Street. To access Bade Street, travel through Nambour main street and turn right into Howard Street and continue a short distance before turning right into Bade Street. On street parking is available, and signage is in place marking the entry to Koala Park reserve.
