Circuit

A quick trail through the bush if you are in this area and want some greenery or to pass the time .

SUITABILITY
Suitable for walkers, recreational cyclists and mountain bikers – a short loop.

HIGHLIGHTS
Just 1km from the Doonan café, garden centre and fruit shop, at Fellowship Drive there’s a small shed complex, complete with wholesale coffee roaster (occasionally open to public) right opposite the kombi restoration shop.

If it’s been mowed outside the complex fence, you can follow your nose around till you find a pleasant wide trail under the gums, which soon reconnects to the road to return to the point where Fellowship Road and Rutch Road meet. (Note you can do this walk in reverse if you prefer.)

Take some music to listen to if traffic noise from the motorway is not your thing. Best to go here when there’s an easterly blowing (most days) as when there is a northerly blowing you can smell the Noosa Council Tip.

AFTERWARDS
If you want to extend your adventure you can walk on trails around The House with No Steps (Charles Duke Memorial Drive which is off Fellowship Road on the right hand side).

Alternatively hop back in the car and head a few hundred metres down the road to e-Plants. This is a fabulous large nursery and a great place to walk around and be inspired. Ikaten Spa is close by as well, so too is Café Doonan.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: Make your way to Doonan on the Eumundi Noosa Road. If driving north up the Sunshine Motorway continue till you get to the Emu Mountain Road / Eumarella Road roundabout. Turn left to Emu Mountain Road and when you reach Eumundi Noosa Road turn left. Heading to Eumundi, Fellowship Road is on your left, opposite the United Petrol Station.

Park on your left just after the first driveway on your left (signs to the Bunker and Tender Shed). The walks starts here on Fellowship road, leading away from the main Eumundi Noosa Road – or you can do it in reverse.

To the end point: The end point is the same as the starting point – it's a rough circuit route.
