Circuit

A winding coastal pathway including beautiful beach vistas and lookout positions.
SUITABILITY
This walk is suitable for families and all ages. The track is a formed pathway.

HIGHLIGHTS

The trail begins at Castaways Beach, access path 41. There is a car park located at this point in addition to tables and toilet facilities.
The track runs parallel to the beach with a number of dedicated, secluded beach access points available for those looking to test the water or take advantage of the beautiful 180 degree coastal view. As the path rises there are several vantage points to view the coastline or maybe even a kite surfer or two. Those walking between July and October may even spot some Humpback Whales on their annual migration north.
The turnaround point is Sunrise Beach. There is also a car park located at this point for those waiting on a pick up or the trail can be flipped to utilise this as the starting point. This space also features picnic tables, some with a magnificent view of the beach.
The trail is approximately 40 minutes’ walk one way.
AFTERWARDS

Return via the way you came, cool off with a swim at one of the beach access points or grab a coffee and snack from the local cafes to enjoy along the way.
HOW TO GET THERE

To Start: Via David Low Way, park at Castaways Beach car park
To End: The end point is the start point
