A scenic river trail packed with family activities.

SUITABILITY
This walk is suitable for families and all ages.

HIGHLIGHTS
The trail begins at the Noosa Marina. There is ample car parking available located at this point in addition to tables, toilet facilities, a water park, and skate park and restaurant options. Everyone in the family is catered for at the start point, a perfect location to grab some lunch, play and get ready for a beautiful scenic walk.
The track to Gympie Terrace includes formed pathways and some roadside sections, all the while winding in, out and over the Noosa River and canals.
Well prepared walkers can enjoy a spot of fishing at one of the many jetties and river edge opportunities along the way. Keep an eye out for the huge pelicans who love to scout the river edge for scraps! The turnaround point is the Noosa River Pirate Park on Gympie Terrace, a leisurely 30-minute walk one way. The park precinct includes toilet facilities, a large playground and the perfect river’s edge for swimming.

AFTERWARDS
If you missed lunch at the marina, there are several cafes and restaurants along Gympie Terrace. Or if you feel a little more adventurous, why not hire a fishing boat or pontoon boat and see the sights from the water?

HOW TO GET THERE
To Start: Via Eumundi Noosa Rd, turn left onto Goodchap St. Turn left onto Hilton Terrace and the marina is on the right, just over the bridge.
To End: The end point is the start point
