Circuit

An easy 4km ride around the edge of the waterways in Sunshine Cove, Maroochydore.

SUITABILITY
Suitable for all age groups and abilities – cyclists and walkers. Playground stops for families. Wheelchair accessible.

HIGHLIGHTS
This circuit has surprising tranquil spots to stop and enjoy the watery views of Cornmeal Creek. Wide boardwalks and paved walkways make it easy to navigate your way around one of Maroochydore’s newer residential suburbs. Cornmeal Creek is at its widest in this section of Maroochydore and there is plenty of fish life to see as you cycle.
There are parks and playgrounds along the route and some areas have BBQ facilities and toilets.
Some sections of the circuit cross over roads, so be mindful of local traffic.

AFTERWARDS
You are not far from the Sunshine Plaza or the Homemaker Centre, so there’s the opportunity to go shopping or eat at one of the many food stores.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: The circuit can be accessed from multiple locations depending on where you want to park. Turn into the residential area off Maroochy Boulevard from either Sunrise Drive or Sunshine Cove Way – both locations have street parking.

To the end point: The end point is the same as the starting point.
