Description
A family friendly walk around the lake.
SUITABILITY
This walk is accessible and suitable for families and all ages.
HIGHLIGHTS
The walk begins at Buderim Lakeshore Park and features a playground set in amongst a beautiful green space and tree lined setting. The walk begins through suburban streets and links onto the lake circuit, a formed pathway around the lake. Take your time and admire the many varieties of birdlife, including swans! There are several bench seats along the way for those wishing to enjoy the lake views, however this walk is a leisurely 30 minute stroll.
AFTERWARDS
The walk passes a local shopping strip including cafes. Grab a coffee or refreshments and let the kids run wild at the park!
HOW TO GET THERE
To Start: Via Sunshine Coast Motorway, take the Maroochy Blvd exit and turn onto Wises Rd. Continue along North Buderim Boulevard and the park is on your right.
To End: The end point is the start point

Wonderful track, travelled many times over the years. Get an up close experience with ducks along the track, the kids love it.

This was a beautiful starting point at the playground, and the lake was lovely. However the track given is not suitable for riding a bike. There were sections where there wasn't a bike path and we had to ride on the road. Then there was a steep grassy hill which wasn't suitable for cycling. A great walking track- and will just have to be adjusted slightly to ride the track.
