Suitable for walkers of varying fitness levels as there are a choice of walks.

HIGHLIGHTS
This reserve is rich in bird and plant life with a various walk options. At the Park Lane entrance you will find a map of the walking paths, as well as information on how this Santuary was donated by a local farming family in honour of their son who was killed during WWI.

Throughout the park are information signs on various trees such as the pink bloodwood and Bunya pine and other woodland and eucalyptus species.

The most popular walk is the Botanic Track (608 m. Easy to Moderate). This sealed loop path meanders through the rainforest with 3 bridge crossings over creeks. If your with littlies or oldies, this is the easiest little loop in this quiet reserve, with benches to sit and relax along the way. Approx 20 mins return.

Other walks in the Sanctuary include:
• Southern Track. (Easy) Another lovely walk through an undulating bush track. Approx 15 minutes.
• Cascade Circuit. (Moderate) A side circuit and steep descent off Botanic Track, to the flowing cascades. Approx 40 minutes.
• Eucalyptus Track. (Moderate)
• Brant's Circuit. (Boundary Track) (Moderate - Difficult)
• Challenge Track. (Moderate - Difficult)

There are over 80 recorded species of birds in the Foote Sanctuary Red chested King Parrot Male. Noisy Pittas, Fan Tails , Green Catbirds. Plus you can often see swamp wallabies

AFTERWARDS
Do one of the side walks – they are not too long – or relax in the park where there are picnic shelters, playground, BBQ and toilet facilities. The Buderim township with its many cafes is also close by.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: Make your way to Mooloolaba Road that runs between Alexandra Headland and Buderim. At the Western (Buderim) end before the roundabout with King St, turn into Foote Ave (on your right heading from the Coast). Take the second left into Park Lane. There is parking at the end of this road, a large information board and beautiful archway entrance. Note there are other entries to this park but this is the easiest to find.

To the end point: The end point is the same as your starting point.

Who would of thought of this secret gem on top of Buderim hidden away.. a nice walk through patches of rainforest and some open space area to relax. Paths are very well maintained by volunteers I believe and is not too difficult the walk. Worth a look if in the area

This is a magic shady spot for a bushwalk! The local community group have been working hard restoring the bushland and creating a wonderful spot for a picnic or stroll.
