One of the Buderim area's peri-urban walks this is a great way to get and extended walk in while enjoying on of the natural highlights of this part of the coast.

SUITABILITY
Suitable for walkers, with a small on road sections on a quite neighborhood street to access the reserve.

HIGHLIGHTS
Starting at Wirreanda park take a moment to admire the amazing weeping fig trees that once formed the entrance to and old homestead and were planted over 100 years ago. You then take a nice walk thru some of the quite neighborhoods of Buderim to Whites Lookout and Park to look north east out across Maroochydore river and the ocean. Then a quick walk down the aptly named Park Ln. leads into EJ Foote sanctuary and it's many options to explore another natural gem in this region.

There are picnic tables and playground available in a number of locations along the walk making this a great way to encourage the younger walkers along with play stops along the way!

AFTERWARDS
Finishing back where you started head across the road to grab a coffee or lunch. Alternatively enjoy a picnic under the figs while the kids play in the local park to round out a great day.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: The recommended start is to park on Short St. in Buderim which is just off of King street.

To the end point: As above this is a loop so the start and finish are the same place.
