HIGHLIGHTS
Kolora Park is located on the outskirts of Palmwoods and is known by locals as the ‘Palmwoods Duck Pond’ due to the vast duck population. The large environmental reserve and freshwater lake surrounding the park is the main feature. There is a short walking track around the lake, where over 150 native plant species have been identified. The park has a playground including its own static ‘Kolora Park Express Train’, shelters with barbecue and picnic facilities as well as public amenities and parking.

AFTERWARDS
Walk into Palmwoods Town Centre and visit ‘Piccabean Green’ also known as the Town Square. Opened in 2018, the town square includes a community green lawn space, boardwalk, seating, shade, drinking fountains with in-built dog bowls and has improved pedestrian links through the town, connecting the three shopping precincts on Margaret, Main and Little Main Streets. Other features include bespoke art features including seating and historical information.

HOW TO GET THERE
To the starting point: Travel along Woombye-Palmwoods Road and turn into Chevallum Road. The park is located on the corner of Chevallum Road and Woombye Palmwoods Road.
To the end point: The end point being the same as your starting point.
