The walk commences from Lions Park, where the kids can enjoy a quick run around on the playground, or a short stroll down to the creek.

To begin, follow the pathway North into town. With many of the original buildings and heritage streetscape been reserved, you will begin to take a journey down memory lane. The walk follows the CBD pathway down to the Railway Station and Cenotaph. Form here you have a great view of the Yandina Hotel, which was first built in 1888.
As you continue along the town journey, you will catch a glance of Mount Ninderry – one of the coast’s iconic attractions.
You will then find yourself approaching the Yandina Community Gardens - at the Blue House. The permaculture gardens were established for the community to gain practical skills in growing their own and is run by local volunteers. Yandina Sports Complex adjoins the gardens, housing a large number of recreational fields, skate park, basketball court, picnic tables and playground.
